An evening stroll along the Colne to discover bats!
The Colne Valley through Watford is a great place for bats – ample food emerging from the rivers and plants, and big trees, bridges and other structures for them to shelter. They will have bat detectors to convert the ultrasound signals to audible frequencies to help with bat identification; hoping to see at least three species.
Suitable for adults, families and accompanied children aged 8+. This walk may cover muddy or uneven ground.
