15. Lower Colne Mink control

Project description

American Mink monitoring and control for the benefit of Water Voles and other native wildlife.

Working with local partners, landowners and volunteers to install a series of Mink monitoring rafts around the River Colne and associated waters. These will be used to determine presence or absence of American Mink in the area and allow for their removal with a view to promoting the spread of the Water Vole throughout the catchment.

Herts & Middlesex Widlife Trust are leading on the area north of Denham Country Park. BBOWT are leading on the area south of Denham Country Park.
