Project description

Opportunity to restore grazing to riverside  meadows, create wetland habitat and improve fish passage.

 Opportunity for restoration of 12ha area of wet meadows alongside the River Chess at Sarratt Bottom, which has not been grazed for more than 30 years. The project could also incorporate new, and enhance existing, wetland habitat and restore river connectivity.  A project plan was developed for this project in 2012 by the Chilterns Chalk Streams Project.
