About the event
Stocker’s Lake is home to the largest Heronry in Hertfordshire, where grey herons and little egrets make their nests and March is one of the best times to watch these noble birds coming and going from the islands. We will be visiting some of the optimal viewing spots so this is also a good opportunity to look for any lasting wintering wildfowl on the lake.
Suitable for beginners.
