Blackbirds Farm Sewage Treatment Works (STW) in Radlett  will come back on line in the next few days, probably starting on Thursday afternoon. Flows will increase by between five and eleven millions gallons a day and given the exceptionally low flows in the river through Watford while the STW has been off line you should expect to see a flush through of potentially hazardous material.
