You are invited to attend one or both of the conferences. The programme for each conference has a different focus

but there is quite a lot of overlap between the two. The first one on Thursday 12th November focuses on the east of Hertfordshire and the Lee Catchment while the second on Thursday 26th November focuses on the west of Hertfordshire down the Colne Valley into Middlesex. In addition to the contribution from the speakers there is plenty of opportunity to meet and talk with others with similar interests.

6.30pm-9.30pm Thursday 26th November 2015 at Affinity Water, Tamblin Way, Hatfield, AL10 9EZ. Parking available on site. Map below.

Aim of the conference

The aim is to bring you up to date with the current status of water voles and non-native invasive species locally, especially focusing on the Colne Catchment. The most significant event in 2015 was the re-introduction of a population of water voles on the River Stort so, although not part of the Colne catchment, will feature at the conference. You will have the opportunity to speak with others who are working to conserve and improve wetlands and their associated wildlife.
