The Chilterns, Hertfordshire and Middlesex Riverfly Hub is holding its inaugural Riverfly Day on Saturday 7th February 2015 at Latimer Park.

Set up in 2014 the Chilterns, Hertfordshire and Middlesex Riverfly Hub is hosting its first Riverfly Day to raise awareness of the importance of riverflies and help further develop riverfly monitoring on rivers across the hub area.

Aimed at both experienced practitioners and those new to the science of riverfly monitoring the day will be of interest to anyone keen to find out more about riverflies and the freshwater environment.

The first part of the day will include talks by experts on a range of riverfly-related subjects and after lunch, there will be a chance to try riverfly monitoring and to sharpen your identification skills.

The Day will start at 10am and will finish at 4pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
