3. Restoring the Ver at Sopwell Nunnery

Project description

A project to enhance the habitat value of the River Ver and to improve its connection to the local community

Works so far have included the removal of some over-shading trees and pollarding of willow, and working with CMS practical conservation volunteers to construct in-channel woody debris structures to improve the flow.  A new surfaced footpath alongside the river is currently in construction.
