Project description

Project to improve instream habitat along an overwide section of the river carried out by the River Chess Association.

 Volunteers led by the River Chess Association used a number of techniques to enhance river habitat using locally sourced, large woody debris. An overwide section of the river was narrowed and deflectors were installed to create holding habitat for fish.
