Project description
Improve the appearance, accessability and landscape of Trout lane as a gateway to the Colne Valley Park from West Drayton.
Trout lane leads directly from West Drayton to the Colne Valley trail, the Slough of of the Grand Union Canal, the River Colne and the network of footpaths and bridleways in the Colne Valley Park. However, it suffers from flytipping motorbike access, arson, poaching and other illegal uses. This project aims to break the viscious circle of unattractive paths, less community use and increased undesirable usage that is putting off local residents from using this route.
