Project description

Preventing Water Voles from Becoming Extinct in the Colne Valley and Angling and Nature Coservation.

Project 1: Preventing Water Voles from Becoming Extinct in the Colne Valley
The first project aims to enable the spread of water voles from existing key sites in the north and south through the creation of a corridor of suitable habitat from Rickmansworth to Denham.

Project 2: Angling and Nature Coservation
The second project aims to establish 15 conservation management plans on fisheries in the Colne Valley by providing training to volunteers from angling clubs who will then be supported to write these plans. Some funding is available to delivering the plans.
