The Rediscovering the River Colne Project in Watford are looking for Volunteer Citizen Scientists

These volunteers will help with an exciting long-term monitoring programme. After a successful first year, they are looking to build their volunteer team. They will gain experience and skills in surveying, wildlife identification and digital recording, by helping with:

  • Riverfly surveys
  • Pollution watch
  • Water quality testing
  • Invasive species reporting
  • General wildlife recording

    Please note that this opportunity is open to all: no experience necessary. All training and guidance will be provided.
